President's Night

Our dedicated and keen president, Roger Parsons, merely told members to bring their swimming gear and arrive at Siblyback Lake for 6pm last Thursday. On arrival, we were greeted by four qualified instructors, two of which took half the group kayaking and the other two led the rest of the club to the high ropes! Despite the fear of heights by some and Burdie's trouble to stay upright in his kayak(!), there was lots of laughter and fun had by all. Huge thanks go to Roger (and his family), who also provided a great spread of food afterwards. He continues to be a fantastic president for the club.
