Talk by a vet

Rachel Risdon, a local vet, gave the club an informative talk about the Westpoint Vetinary Practice that she helped to set up in 2007 at Trethorne (Kennards House). Rachel explained that Westpoint Veterinary Group is one of eleven practices in the UK and is the largest farm animal only veterinary practice in the UK. She advised members of ways they could use their vet more effectively, in relation to the changing farming practice and even provided a virtual tour of her surgery.
